Hi everyone, we hope you are having a great weekend? We just needed to let you know about a few changes to the timetable this week :-)

First up - MONDAY WALKERS - normally leave at 8.15 from Tickle Park - this week, looking for a cooler walk, the group is starting at 6.00 am heading up Mount Coolum. Meet Helen in the car park  at 5.55am if you want to join them - bring plenty of water and a hat.

Next up - Tuesday we have another sausage sizzle at Bunnings Noosa. We are a little shorthanded for the last shift 1.30-4.30 so if you can pop along and give us a hand you will be welcomed warmly :-).

Sausage Sizzling means that we wont be able to run the Art drop In this Tuesday, so the shed will be closed. We will be doing ECO Dyeing the following 2 Tuesdays and then Art Drop in will be back on 18th February. Tickets for ECO Dyeing are available on our website, under the bookings page.

Thursday is our lovely gentle yoga with Simon and Marie is organising a beach walk Sunday 2nd Feb - check our calendar for more details .

On Thursday, some of our members are going to see 'BOMBSHELL' at Nambour Majestic theater,  screening at 6.30 pm. Or join them at Nambour RSL from 5pm to have a bite to eat and drink beforehand ♥
Organised by Marie, via the FB Social Group: 'Ladies this would be a great way for us to meet up and say hi to each other. I have a bunch of 2 for 1 tix and thought we could all go and see this wonderful movie. The trailer looks fantastic.'

See you soon sheddies!

Our purpose - connection through recreation

Our purpose is to connect the women of Coolum and surrounds by providing opportunities to participate in a broad range of recreation-based activities on a regular or casual basis.

We believe that regular participation in recreational activities with others promotes a sense of connection and contributes to a person’s wellbeing in many ways.

Our space, away from responsibilities of home and work, allows women a chance to focus on their needs and build supportive friendships with women of all life stages and backgrounds.

Connection is our key motivator for sustained participation in activities that contribute to health and wellbeing. Ongoing participation has a longer lasting and greater benefit to women than one-off or short courses. We use the phrase ‘Connection through Recreation’ to express our purpose but there are many more benefits associated with membership of the shed.
