Cool-IT IT support for our booking and communication systems 'Hello Club' and 'Band'. For for those having problems or those who just want to know more. Cool-um Strums Have you ever wanted to learn to play guitar? Do you have a guitar? Come along to our self-taught guitar group. We are all beginners wanting to learn and help each other to play a few songs. No experience necessary just the passion to learn to play. We gather every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. On the 1st Thursday of the month we have a music teacher Ali come and give us some tips on a particular song that we have been learning.
Creative Connections Suitable for people wanting to work on creative projects in the company of other members. Bring your Arts, Crafts or anything you deem as creative! Members may be able to help, but they are there to work on their own projects. BYO materials or limited items available at the shed. Held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the Month.
Drawing Group - Sketchy Gals Saturday, twice a month -Try different drawing and art techniques and share tips and ideas. Beginners are welcome, although this group is essentially self-taught. We are making time to dedicate time to practice drawing and improve our skills through shared experience. Please bring your own materials.

Kayaking – Women on Weyba Do you want to get out and about on the beautiful waterways of the sunshine coast? Join us for this informal session to try a variety of kayaks and SUPs at beautiful Lake Weyba. Bring a picnic and enjoy the view and try out a few different kayaks.
Mosaic Meetup This monthly meetup offers a chance to work on your own mosaic projects. This meetup is for people that have already completed some form of mosaic in the past. If you have no experience please email us to discuss training with our coordinator on the day.
On The Tools (OTT) DIY Meetup On the Tools is a new group where we try a variety of 'DIY' projects, and solutions. The OTT meetup is a chance to access the tools in an informal environment. Attendance fee covers use of tools and consumables within reason (sandpaper, screws etc, earplugs). A limited amount of scrap wood is available. Please bring your own materials if you have something specific to make. Beginners welcome, PPE is available at the shed. Please ensure that you are wearing closed in shoes and observe safety protocols.
Currently, we are focusing on making items for the shed using the materials that we already have. This gives us a chance to see what tool to use where and get acquainted with using the tools safely. Sessions usually start with a discussion about what we want to attempt that day.
Resistance Training Small group resistance training. Book in 5 weekly blocks.
Shed Jazz This is a Jazz Musician’s fellowship group and meets on Monday afternoons for a jam session concentrating on swing and latin standards from ‘the Great American Songbook’.. It is a joint project of the Coolum Men’s and Women’s Sheds and is open to men and women. Participants are mostly working or retired musicians. Improvisation is a mainstay of the session. Experience is required and no tuition is provided.
Sister to Sister Meetup Each month Sister to Sister bring you a different opportunity to connect with other women and explore a variety of topics.
Sister to Sister is a registered charity, with a similar purpose to the Coolum Women's Shed. We are collaborating to offer a regular meetup for members of both organisations. Activities will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and at other times as needed. Fees may vary depending on the costs associated with the activity.
Walking group Join other walkers each Tuesday for an hour's walk followed by coffee at a local café. Meet outside the toilets in Tickle Park at 8am. On the first Tuesday of the month the walk will leave from another point - please book in to get the latest info.
