Booking system guidance 
  • Booking and membership subscriptions are managed through 'helloclub'-  you need to create an account to book anything. You do not need to pay for membership to book an activity  but you will be charged a non-member rate. 
  •  The calendar view shows all activities coming up for the month, and which ones you are already booked onto (shown in green).  
  • ​All activities must be booked online. This means that our volunteers don't need to manage payments on the day, and we can let you know if plans change. If you have problems using the system please get in touch.
  • The Women's Shed is entirely run by volunteers, and we value their contribution.  We require a minimum of four attendees to run an activity so please book in advance to avoid cancellations.  
  • A booking fee is charged for each transaction. You can minimise booking fees by:
    • ​booking multiple sessions e.g. booking yoga for 4 weeks
    • adding an account credit and using it to pay for activities
  • Cancellations - Refunds are paid for cancellations made 24 hours in advance and will be credited to your account. You can go into the booking system and cancel them yourself. This credit can be used for future bookings and will avoid the booking fee.

Do you have an idea for an activity?
We always welcome offers to organise or teach an activity. If there is an activity you would like to bring to the shed, please talk to one of our committee members.​
Want to help out?
You can also help us out by volunteering to help with a variety of small jobs or get more involved.  Please chat with one of our committee members to see what tasks we currently need help with.
Have goods to donate?
We appreciate your generosity, but have limited storage capacity. Please talk with one of our committee members to see whether we can use your items or if there are alternative groups we know of who could benefit.
