Membership of Coolum Women's Shed is $35 per year. This gives you access to all our activities at a member rate and our members only community forum on 'Band'. You do not need to be a member to make a booking, but non-members are charged $5 extra for each activity. Member discounts are automatically applied to activity prices on booking.

Recreation is anything you do with your leisure time - crafts, book clubs, resistance training. Recreation is an important component of mental and physical health, which often gets neglected in our busy lives.
Some women cannot commit to weekly activities and so we run a variety of activities on a monthly or fortnightly basis. We vary times and try to offer options on weekends, daytimes and evenings.
Our activities are either 'Meetups', 'Workshops' or 'Classes':
We aim to keep participation costs low so that people can attend regularly. Friendships are created when time x common interests x repeated.
We welcome all women and are creating a diverse community of women of varying life stages and experiences.
In booking to attend our activities you are agreeing to abide by our code of conduct. Disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated. A copy of our code of conduct can be found here.

- Meetups are times when you can get together with other members without a taught element - e.g. social outings, studio time.
- Workshops are designed to teach you a specific skill, all info and materials are supplied.
- Classes are regular activities that are led by paid teachers - for example yoga or resistance training.
