As a not for profit, we have to raise our own funds. This helps us when we apply for grants. We have long wanted our own pottery wheel at the shed, that members can use at minimal cost.
The Shimpo Whisper is widely regarded as a great machine, it's quiet, easy to clean, suitable for for both left and right handers. It's also light which means we can use it outside.
Each $100 dollar contribution will entitle you to 3 FREE sessions on the new wheel, and an introductory class with Nell to get you going.
You will also get a discount on wheel hire as recognition of your contribution.
Ideally we would like two machines, we will buy the first machine when we achieve the funding (approx $2800).
